Wind Speed
Of the cities in examined, the fastest wind speed (mph) occurs in the cities that are about 40 degrees above the equator and about between 60 and 80 degrees above the equator. The wind speed gets as fast as about 40 mph for those cities above the equator and about 27 mph for those cities below the equator. In the range of the cities that lie 40 degrees below the equator and 60 degrees above the equator, the majority of the cities have a windspeed that is lower than 10 mph. Thus, although some cities father away from the equator have higher windspeed, it does not seem that the windspeed actually decreases as we approach the equator
